Modern Endodontics

Dr Adam Watt is the joint principal dentist at Broomhill Dental in Glasgow’s West End. Since his career began, Adam has been passionate about endodontics (root canal treatment) and saving teeth wherever possible.
In 2021, having completed fourteen years in general practice, Adam decided to formalise these interests by entering the renowned master’s programme at Simplyendo, Formby. In October 2024, Adam completed his MSc and has been awarded a distinction for his efforts in 2025.
Root canal treatment is designed to save a tooth that is infected or damaged, typically affecting the tooth’s pulp—the innermost part that contains nerves, blood vessels, and connective tissue.
Adam utilises contemporary methods and innovative materials to perform root canal treatments that involve minimal or no discomfort.
